Friday we woke up well rested and had plans to meet our friends in from San Diego. They had been in Europe for a few weeks going to Paris, and seeing other parts of Scotland exploring their heritage.
After having breakfast at a place called Mums, we showed our friends Greyfriars Kirkyard, and we continued exploring the town as we headed to the Edinburgh Castle. We spent a few hours there taking pictures.
Fun random discovery, John is part Scottish. Almost six years together, and I did not know that! We found his grandparents' last names in a registry, but unfortunately we were unable to take photos inside the museum. I wrote the names down at least to look them up later.
Saturday we spent the entire day at the Scottish Tattoo Convention.
So many pictures!...so I'll just leave it at that.
